Atlantic and Western Railway

The Atlantic and Western Railway is the result of a reorganisation done in 1927 from the Atlantic and Western Railroad. I cannot find when the Atlantic and Western Railroad was created.
Located in North Carolina, they own about 10 miles of tracks.
In 2005, it was acquired by the Genesee & Wyoming Inc.
There fleet is composed of a few locomotives but, over 8600 railroad cars of all kind according to my old "Official Railway Equipment Register". I must admit, during my train fanning sessions, I see lots of ATW equipment on trains.
L'Atlantic and Western Railway est le résultat d'une reorganisation fait en 1927 avec l'Atlantic and Western railroad.. Je n'ai pas trouvé quand l'atlantic and Western Railroad a été créé.
Situé en Caroline du Nord, ils possèdent environ 16km de voies ferrée.
En 2005. Le Genesee & Wyoming Inc. a acheté l'Atlantic and Western Railway.
Leurs flottes est compose de quelques locomotives et selon mon vieux "Official Railway Equipment Register ", ils possèdent plus de 8600 wagons de toutes sortes. J'admets que lors de mes sorties de train fanning, je vois beaucoup de ces équipements sur les trains.
